An easy R10K... i think

Found this this morning while checking some of my website stats.. Seems pretty cool, I wish I had more experience in web design, as I have mainly been working freelance for a few months.
 
LOL, this might seem cool but in reality they are too cheap to pay a recruitment company.

Typically a recruitment fee is 15-30% of annual CTC. Eg. if someone earns 300k per annum, you should be getting around 50k+ as a recruitment fee.

Essentially they are asking you to recruit someone for them at far below market rates.

Not actually true, we simply prefer to deal directly with candidates than through agencies. We've been burned by agencies several times in the past, and we've turned that page. We're happy to pay a referral fee or finder's fee, but agencies are not an option for us at this stage.

Incidentally, a recruitment agency should be supplying multiple, vetted candidates to justify their 50k+ fee. For an average person to earn R10k for just referring a friend to a website link is pretty sweet!

Use, don't use, it's up to you :)

Fair enough.

Tho most companies I've heard have a clause that states the developer is hired with the ability to do the job and if they renege within the first month or are unable to do their duties, the recruitment fee is null & void.

Granted in the current market it is a tough place to find good developers.

We're really looking for the best of the best - skills and attitude. In the past we just haven't found the same quality of people through agencies, as through personal referrals and recommendations.
