It takes 1 working day to cut. We use the post office for delivery with registered mail or via Speed Services Couriers counter to counter.Looks neat. Whats the wait time including delivery?
oohhh... I am tempted too. Does it only come in a clear color? I wouldnt mind a purple transparent oneWe cut a case for a family member out of 3MM clear acrylic. It came out so nicely we now offer it as a product on our web store

What would additional costs be with additional modifications?
There are some nice cases on ebay...
Mr Jax, it sounds ok as a price. It would be good to check the finished product. If you can I would like to make an order for one of these. Let me know if possible.Materials are being cut as we speak. Looks like we will play approx R80 per case for the cutting, so in total it is costing us ~R115 per case.

Nice, just to confirm it doesn't require rubber bands to assemble like certain overseas ones right![]()

I'm still thinking the ModMyPi case is pretty much one of the best ones out there...

I had a look at the files and it is a complicated build so we will stay away from that one. This might be a bit of a longshot but can you make a bigger one that can house a full size keyboard and have the Pi underneath similar to what Ben Heck made in this video: http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/1558 but out of acrylic?
How about a picture. As long as it works. That really is a nice case Ian. I grabbed my dremmel and a plastic business cards box and hacked around. Works - but it looks like kak.

Ok no comments about my workshop skills. I really like the soap box, btw, C_N.
