    Default Vocals only thread

In light of my Bohemian Rhapsody thread, here's a thread where we can post other songs where the vocal tracks have been isolated.

Let's start off with Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box

Acapellas are plentiful all over the net - the only issue is that because of licensing issues they are very hard to come by. Not sure there will be too many contributions. I have a ton of acapellas that I use as samples in my productions...

I see there are quite a few Queen acapellas on Youtube though:

Yeah? What do you have? Can you send me a list or send me to a source or something? There's something Zen-like about them.

I have mostly dance acapellas but also got hold of quite a collection of SA acapellas from a record company friend of mine, and have a fair size collection of rock tracks as well all mixed in. I love them all. All sitting on my local hard drive - about a gigs worth. Not sure where or how I could possibly send that your way...

Hmm, dunno. I'll scour the interwebs and have a look first. Surely there'll be a community into this sort of thing

Okay, okay, I'll stop for now. Feels like I'm spamming.

http://www.deejayportal.com/ has an acapella section but mostly for modern pop and dance music. Older rock tracks are harder to come by...

Yeah, I figured. Not so much into modern pop or most dancy stuff(like you guessed). There are some though. I don't know, that Protools sound and Autotune sound just doesn't work for me. Even that Linkin park song, sounds like Tupperware.
