Hi all, does anyone have an idea as to exactly when they will be bumping all the 384 lines up to 1meg lines?? Will it be rolled out or all moved over on a set date?

Some telkom rep said it a few weeks back on techcentral. Can't really remember where.
24th Aug, but in the background i bilieve there is work being done to prepare for the bulk upgrade on that day.

I got confirmation from a Telkom technician last week that they have already started with upgrades in the Cape Town area.

I just had my line bumped up from 4mb to:
ADSL 640 / 6144 kbps
I also see on my IS control panel there is a 6144 kbps uncapped bandwidth account option.
