CPA Advice needed ....

Once again Vodacom find the way to take money from me and this time its with the 12 month 2gb + 2gb contract.

I had assumed it was cancelling not realising VC converts it to a month to month Mygig package costing double the price. I had signed two of these contracts unfortunately and now i ned to pay over R700 for nothing since they tell me i needed to give them a months notice to cancel.

Im just so sick and tired of this company finding all the ways to cheat customers. In total i have lost alot of money with them and after 12 years of business with them, i have decided to close my account with multiple contracts. I cant support unethical companies like this.

Is there a way i can at least save myself from paying the R700 ? I would even just pay the money to someone else than to VC.

This was discussed about a month or so ago - exactly the same complaint. The moral of the story was that you should read the terms and conditions prior to signing the contract and unfortunately you have to pay the R700
