Make sure you have IS7 as your home network and not W7
When The decoder reboots the Box Office and catch-up are gone fora few hours.
They return later.
Thanks QT, will check everything thoroughly today; did a quick look at the cables and they seem fine - could be the LNB; couldn't see clearly from the ground, but looks like some of the plastic has come off on the front side nearest the dish, will replace and see if it happens again.
Hey zeb, network is definitely IS7
Hey Aardvark, noticed this a few previous times, but this seems to be different - there were apparently a few random reboots that happened on their own, but the BO and CU were always there within a few minutes - more recently, these have just disappeared and re-appeared days apart...

Tuner 1 is for the program you are watching
Tuners 2 and 3 only show a signal when you are recording something, or the VoD is updating
Tuner 4 is for the iPlate, etc
You really need a sat meter for (1), but..
1 Check the dish alignment
2 Check the skew angle. It should be 153 deg (about 4.30 pm)
The skew angle is the one that commands the least attention, but can affect recordings, etc
Lastly, what is the condition of the cable from the LNB to the receiver? If it is over 5 years old, best replace it. Also make sure that the connections to the LNB are clean (spotless) and sealed with self-amalgamating tape.
Oh yes, I got carried away. Maybe this guy should look on the DSTV forum, lots of (fairly) helpful info on there. The LNB settings, etc are the same though.
I have the same set up and have had the same problem, check the connections on the back of the pvr first, mine was slightly loose tightened it and worked perfectly after, also switch the connectors on the back around, then check signal that will tell you which cable is faulty, then follow that cable up to the dish and see if there are anyproblems with it.
