Javascript Classes

Hi Everyone!

I'm a web designer so my work revolves mostly around psd, html, css, jquery. My boss wants me to further my skills with some JavaScript courses. Yes yes I know there are tons of brilliant online resources but he is willing to invest in me and wants to see some sort of certification when I'm done.

I work in Cape Town and wanted to know if any of you wonderful people can suggest a good resource?

Please note that it has to be short. Meaning it can't be like a year of training because I still need to work or would maybe take time off for this. Also does anyone know these above services? Are they any good?

Honestly, getting certified is probably good, but you can get JavaScript going within a few weeks. But if your boss wants you to have the certificate, then do it.

Most companies only want to know if you can do something, and if you say yes, then you'll get an assignment. JavaScript is fun, but you can do that in your spare time. From scratch to advance.
