Default How long does it take for a data sim to be provisioned?

As the title states, I got myself a DATA SIM 2/Blackberry today, how long will it take to be activated? It sometimes says registration failed? Do I need to leave it unpowered (i.e not in a device)

    Any help appreciated.

U'll need to switch device on and off. Depends how incompetent the shop / SP is that you chose. I find voda on most takes 3 hours but once they took 3 days!! Had to phone the shop to redo the activation.

Vodacom is the only provider that I know of that provides the Data Sim product.

Data Sim provisioning and going live on the network can unfortunately take a bit long once we have done it one the system. Not sure why exactly.

    @ OP. You have PM.

    Ockie.

If SIM is linked to service provider linked to Re-sellers like Autopage/Nashua then the activation can take longer than Ockie stated. The lesson is never support these Re-sellers.

Good day. I have confirmed with the OP that the Data Sim was indeed activated by my store and is showing on the system.

I have forwarded this to Vodacom for assistance and will be in communication with the OP once feedback is received.

    Kind Regards:
    Ockie
