With Chip and Pin and no longer signature as a requirement the burden of proof falls on the card holder. If someone gets your card and guesses your PIN, you basically have no recourse. You gotta pay.

Funny, by mentioning the least used pins they ended up listing mine

They've got 3 tries to guess an arbitrary 4-number combination, versus forging a signature. I'll take my chances with chip and pin thanks.

I'm taking no chances, I'll keep my signature and the bank can keep their job of keeping my money safe.

Just take the 4th or 5th most popular PIN. Most cards only give you 3 strikes before it locks...

You'll rather use signature verification than chip and pin? Are you out of your bloody woman-born skull?

Now, the next article on this subject will list the "least common PINs" as the most common PINs.

Why the need to publish the least common PINs?

Maybe they should start using 5 or 6-digit PIN's as opposed to the current 4-digit presently in use?
