Online retail giant Amazon has withdrawn from its website a controversial jigsaw puzzle that depicts ovens at the crematorium of the Nazi death camp of Dachau.
It seems like people are tip toeing way too much around these matters. Just because someone takes offense, doesn't mean they should can the whole thing.
Sometimes it's just an artist depicting something from that era, I do not believe that they are always trying to be offensive.
it makes for a very bleak and lame future where people cry about everything to get their way.
There will always be people that take offense to just about everything.
Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing.
and if it was a puzzle about the sharpville masacre? what about if it was an artist's impression of gert van rooyen killing a teenage girl?
just because it's free speech, doesn't mean you get to be a retard.
