It's a damn sexy looking OS, I'll say that.
I hope Mark's all Patented Up and not trod on Apple's Patent Pie...![]()
Shake&Bake™. That, just happened!
I would love to see more of this O/S for phones..
Will take a while to become trusted and established tho, the more options the better
i love my android, but i'm keen to give this a shot.![]()
Really looking forward to playing with this.
What I like about this concept is that it can also use the very same apps that was made for FirefoxOS (Previously known as Boot to gecko)
Then again the more the merrier, just as long as the people decide via their wallets and not the courts with the patent trolls.
As an iPhone user, finally something that catches my eye.. I've always been an Ubuntu fan and this might be my next upgrade if it takes off.

Buying a "blank" phone and deciding what OS you want in it.
Looks amazing but the edge swipe gestures still look a bit touch and go (hehe, no pun intended) as from all the videos I've seen it looks quite tricky to swipe from the edge with high accuracy. They will have to make it much easier to do this otherwise it will frustrate users. Other than that I can't wait to see an official Ubuntu release phone.

I don't know if you referring to Ubuntu's implementation of swipe or the swipe from the edge in general.
I have Sipepad Hyperspace on my Android phone and I love it as an extra action esp when done right. Yes it can be tricky for example when I used Swipepad from the side I had a lot of false positives in both when swapping pages and in games (Temple Run was a real pain when you swipe from the side and ,the menu came up instead of your toon swpping direction) but since I moved the "hot zone" to the bottom so you swiped up, this became a hing of the past.
Now I simply can not live without it,
Gesture driven ala N9
I'm much more interested in the ubuntu for android facility (not that i'm not impressed with uMobile!). Finally my S3 will be put through its paces; essentially why I got this phone.
sounds very interesting!
