Yeah, looks like a very good squad. Some big name players in there. I see Sean Maitland is in there, too. Couldn't get into the All Blacks so he's gone to Scotland. :p

Yes they punch above their weight in Union, because league is much more dominant at school level, especially the govt schools where most of indegeneous go.

It was just the kicking coach who told the assistant referee that he now has an X on his back and that he is a blind ***** that needs to go back to club rugby.

Jean de Villiers phoned and apologised to the guy when he found out about it.

According to my sources the Stormers are willing to plead guilty if only the person in question gets punished and fined. But they will not allow the whole team to be fined.

All a bit stupid by the coach and then also a bit of an overreaction to hold hearings and stuff. Storm in a teacup if you ask me.

Reds v Sharks - no pick
I'd really really really like the sharks to win. I just don't know if they can. I'm probably gonna take my advice from earlier and pick them because they are south africa. If they lose, then I can be twice as angry. Beats any kind of consolation like they lost, but my Bru looks ok or my bru is farked, but at least they won - all or nothing will probably make this pick for me.

Waratahs v Stormers - no pick
There is no reason why stormers shouldn't win - except of course their season so far. I think the same sentiment for the sharks will apply, although I think their chances against a flailing 'tards side are much better than the sharks against these resurgent reds.

Please, stormers and sharks, pretty pretty fkn please, WIN!


Southern Kings v Highlanders - no pick
Last week left me thinking Kings suck balls and Highlanders can pull a win out their asses. Here, that nationalist loyalty is not enough to pull me through - last week it caused me no end of embarrassment. So, what do I pick? I'm hoping kings so I am thinking kings.
 
I'm also torn with the Kings pick - my head says travel and the fact that one win doesn't make a champion side favours the Kings, my pops also says Kings, then rugby365 says the Landers and the bookies also say the Landers.

I'm gonna have a think and make the pick tomorrow after I see how the weekend has gone - if my GSP is gone and I'm dead in the water I'll back a Kings win and if I'm close I'm going with the bookies!

Was a toughie to put money down on this weeks games, but thought long and hard about this game, yes Tahs outplayed the Kings, and Landers nowhere this season, but can the Kings bounce back from the crushing loss, I eventually went with no, Landers by 15

Sharks are not looking great. If the stormers do not win tomorrow... well then they are very doubtful for a place in the playoffs.
