Only saw now that Anscombe and Nanai-Williams are out for 6 weeks. Along with Kahui, Ngatai and Horrell. They were doing okay with regards to injuries during the first half of the season, but this is quite a blow! Anscombe is the top points scorer in the tournament so far.
 
I can't watch the game but the Rebels have this tendency to not play so well in the 2nd half of their games. The problem this year though is that the Stormers have this tendency to lose their games in the last couple of minutes.

Stormers 21 - 20 up. 20 minutes left. You would expect the Stormers to win from here.
 
I expected the Stormers to win from 14-10 up, so 21-20 isn't sitting to well with me yet.

Stormers got a penalty in the Rebels 22 and opted to kick for the line :wtf:

When will these ejits learn that in tight games you take the 3 points. Eish! :(
 
Penalty Try - Massive call by the tmo here as he rules that Bezuidenhout's holding back of Phipps would have been a try. Result is penalty try and yellow for the hooker.

First time the Rebels have EVER beaten a South African side ........ good job Breezers, whahahahahaha
 
Words cannot express my disappointment. If I had any kids that were stormers fans, I'd tell them they're adopted and send them back to the home.
 
I can't believe it. :( It sucks so much.

And what's with that penalty try? That should have been a scrum for the Stormers because of the knock on by the Rebels player. He knocked it out of the Stormers player's hands.
 
The final whistle goes and the Stormers season is now officially in tatters.

Game could have been so different if they had taken the frigging 3 points when it was on offer. :mad: Maybe they might still have lost the game, but it would have added pressure to the Rebels' game. :mad:

If you can't get 4 tries vs one of the crappiest defenses in the game, you deserve to lose.

You are down and out of the tournament and got a better chance making playoffs with 5points. So its do or die, so that's my reasoning why they went for the try.
