International Conference Call with an iPhone

Guys.... I need your help and this forum always is the right place to go to.

I have an international conference call this evening. I won't be at a landline so have to dial-in with my iPhone. I have a blackberry too but want to use my iPhone.

It is a UK number I have to call and have ten digit conference code.

Now.... How do I dial in to this? :( must I save the number as a contact, with a hard pause and also the conference code? Of....?

I have never dealt with a conference call with my mobile.... Clearly
 
You can normally just dial the number as usual on the cell, and then follow the voice prompts to enter the conference code.

Also most of these conference facilities now have a local number for you to dial - double check, might save you some cash.
 
I know for some conference calls blackberry uses could just hit a link link this:

tel:02041239101,,,1,,647543#

I don't know if you can use this on an iphone or android device
 
Oooh okay so there are possibly voice prompts - I was worried about that. Okay cool, I will dial straight in and see how it goes otherwise I will try using my BB. Luckily it is a landline I am calling :) thank you!

Depending on who is hosting the conference, this helps a lot. Our company uses AT&T and we have a toll free number for SA. Doesn't help much from cell, but certainly less than international. Or if you are with Cell C, its cheaper to dial international (to UK) than local.....go figure.

Well, I'll be calling from a cell c number and like I said, it's to the uk. Guess i am in luck :)

I didn't know Cell C calls are cheaper to the UK - will you report back on those costs when you get your bill
