Hey all, I am in urgent need of advise and hopefully someone might be able to provide me with some help.
I moved and I am unable to get a fixed Telkom line in my area at the moment. So I applied and received a FLLA (Fixed Line Look Alike) SIM card from Telkom which is used to make standard Telkom phone calls as well as a wireless internet connection.
I have tested this with a standard cellphone for voice (which works fine) and a Billion 810VNTX router with the SIM in a 3G (via USB) for internet connectivity (Also works fine)
My question is if it is possible to use a standard phone through the router somehow to make voice calls while connected to the net. I know that the router supports VoIP but I do not want to get another account for VoIP since I dial via the Telkom Wireless towers, right?
Any advise if this is possible? or will I have to resolve to buying the proposed handset by Telkom which is specifically intended for this function which is nearly R1000 ?
Thnx in Advance
