Mtn sim in Vodafone R205 modem

i have an unlocked Vodafone R205. when i insert my mtn sim, it connects to the internet but i get an indication of "limited connection".

i have created a new connection profile, with all the relevant settings for MTN. i see that the router connects receives and ip address, but i am unable to browse the internet.

can anyone give me any assistance?
 
Doesn't the dialup number have to change ? I know for Vodacom it dials *99***2#, I think MTN uses *99#
 
for The settings, i have used, myMTN or Internet. dialup number *99#.

both options connect, but still no browsing capabilties.
 
On my B683, I have one profile called internet, with number *99# and APN set to internet, works with MTN, Vodacom, Cell-C and 8ta, just swap SIM cards ....
