Who's currently got the cheapest pre-paid data prices?

Running a R205 WiFi modem, with a Vodacom Contract, but damn they're expensive ... looking at going cheap cheap pre-paid.

If you have reception go to cell c
 
Check previous threads....Cell C is your answer....Or 8ta if you want to buy big
 
Actually the 8ta 2+1 gig deal for R149 is still ongoing (contrary to what word on the street was when they apparently said they're cancelling it). So if you have 8ta coverage then this is a no-brainer :)

In terms of expiry on the bundles ... I can't find the details on the 8ta site ... how does it work, also expire after 60 days like Vodacom?
 
AFAIK the 8ta bundles expire at the end of the next calendar month -- or after 12 months if you bought the 60+60 prepaid bundle.
 
Many factors need to be taken into consideration if going 8ta / cell c route, make sure you are covered first. Buy a prepaid card, RICA it, then do some testing of your own. If you happy with the results then sign on the dotted line if you feel safe or go prepaid route.
