I never had any noticible lag playing Guild Wars: Factions on 384k IS ADSL.
Never checked my ping though either, cos I didn't need to

I have to agree at times guild wars is unplayable on IS
Sorry to hear guys. Maybe they are doing work when you experience the problems or there are actually an international problem...??
I find IS and SAIX generally very good for GW. I only really notice anyting when there are work happening or an internaitonal problem.

Get a Webafrica Saix pre-paid. IS is for local and news servers, u should know better. International bandwidth only from saix for games unless u get IS over fibre....

Getting gangbanged by 6 mesner creeps in a 6man group in the Villainy quest (almost finished it too), and being the only one left alive, I try run away. I lagged out and next scene I see myself continually running repeatedly into a tree aftwerwhich I die from being mauled by about 3 Nightmare wolves O_o

That is a mean quest even when you are level 20. When I went and did it with my lvl20 Factions ranger, it was not easy. I started form Temple of Ages with henchies, iow party of 8.
IMO they appear to have changed the quest since I was last there with my Prophecies warrior and necro, 6 months ago or so.
