What's the cheapest voice+Data solution?

I'm guessing that the people here know the best tricks to secure a voice and data bundle with minimum rates.

I'm after a 500min + 100Mb monthly bundle. I don't need a handset nor data card, and I don't mind combining contract minutes with pre-paid data. How do I go about researching this? SP sites don't cover prepaid nor month-by-month options, and all are awful at giving the SAC back when you don't need the handset.

Any combinations that people are talking about?

Kekkel.com gives a fair estimate of package choice, but currently does not include VirginMobile. it also does not include the "no phone" options such as MTN MyPhone (R105 airtime for R35), EliteMobile Vodacom Topup 135 without phone (R135 airtime at R49) http://www.elitemobile.co.za/index....45&PHPSESSID=67bff71ac796dc50892b4cb28110d822 and some EliteMobile packages without phone (search with nophone option) which give up to R110 discount.

I have developed a spreadsheet to model packages in detail, but it is fairly complex - not user friendly yet.

I'm a spreadsheet guru and would love a chance to check out your model.

On the elitemobile options, the frustrating thing I'm finding is that SP's will give me a 6k handset for a 500 minute 24m contract, but if I do not take a handset will not reduce my bill by 6k/24!
