How do I set up my N80 with my Wifi Router for file sharing?

Hi guys.

Does anyone know how to do this at all? I would like to share files between my Nokia N80 and my Computer via a Wifi Router.

This is not the easiest thing to do. You can try one of two things:

1.
a. Update the firmware to the latest version - ends in 042. (Sorry I don't have my phone on me so I cannot check).
b. Check under connections and there is a new/updated icon for WLAN connections.
c. Not sure if this will solve you problem. Also, the update is 13mb for the Nokia Updater Software and another 61-67mb for the firmware.

2.
a. You need to install and configure SimpleCenter Home Media Server on your PC and on your N80. The software is on the CD that comes with your phone. Alternately, download the latest version (version 4) from www.simplecenter.com.
b. I think this is the better option, but have not tried it.

I'm busy downloading SimpleCentre now. Will let you know if I get it to work.

I've had no luck with SimpleCentre so far although I'm able to download mail and surf the web off my Netgear ADSL/wireless router using wifi.

Nope, Simple center is just a scaled down version of Remote Desktop Connection.

I want to share files only using the built in wifi.
