if you want i can tell you how it ends then you wont have to worry about watching it :D

or wait for it to come out on circuit. hassle free and cheaper then downloading.

load the torrent in bit comet, (or other torrent app that allows you to select which files to download within the torrent) and 'unselect' all the sections for download, except for the files that appear to be damaged.
Move the downloaded damaged files out of the path. Tell the app to go download.. it'll redownload those specific files you moved out've the path.

If they still have errors, then its the original files that are corrupted, and you're scroo'd..

ps - to avoid problems, rather dont tell us what the film title is you're downloading. I know folks want to boast at times, but.. :P If you dont mention a title, we can all believe that you're downloading a nice legal open source copyright free movie from archive.org or something, and thus can offer you possible help..

okay, well, same rules apply, pretty much - you're going to have to move the damaged files out the way, and redownload those segments.. If its usenet, then check the file numbers that make up the separate filez.. to ensure you have all pieces. As a plan B - If its a 'known' Group release, you can possibly do a search for that group release via torrents, and if its the same structure as the usenet one (same sizes/numbers of files) then find the individual filez as described above..

If it's only 2 Gig then the quality can't be that hot.

What did it cost you to download this folly?

Normally DIVX/XVID DVD Rips are 700mb so 2gb is quite large for a release seeing that it isnt in *.vob or proper DVD format.

Gotcha.

MPEG2 isn't great to start with, so if you halve the size what kind of picture are you left with. May as well get the VOBS - more versatile anyway.

ya 1.4GB Dvd rips have been out for like a month now :) but anyway
