DSTV pin codes

I guess with a (OTA) software update to my 990 decoder they changed the pin codes for TV installation and dish installation and all that, they used to be 9949 and 9929, i tried 0000 and 1234... nothing works now :(

any1 know what they are?
 
Mine is still 9949

Here's what I dont understand - everyone pretty much knows its 9949, you cant change it, so why bother with a code in the first place? :confused:
 
mines not 9949 anymore :(, neither is my dads 9949 anymore
 
The DSTV decoder's pin code can get corrupted when a software update fails. To reset the code you need to select "restore factory defaults" from the menu. After that 9949 should once again work :cool:
