Any body know how important it is to line up your LNB. I had an old one. I repaced it with a dual. I can pick up all the channels on one cable but not on 11000 mhz. I am installing a PVR. Multichoice says I have subscribed but the PVR says I havent.

It has to do with the smart card if a service is enabled or not, they enable it on their systems and then it should work for you. I dunno really what ur problem is other than that, get them to come to your house and fix it if it doesnt work

I had a similar problem when I installed the twin LNB myself.

At first I lined it up vertically and it worked, but barely. Then I angled it at about 35 to 45 degrees from the vertical, can't recall if clockwise or anti.

Just look at how it's been installed on dishes around your area.

The smartcards on PVR/DualView and normal decoder are all different - if that helps.

A twin-LNB should fit in the same space as a single, unless the arm is bent.
