Vodafone E220 USB modem driver specificity

I thought that seeing as some ppl in the VC forum have multiple SIM cards, (not all VC) I could get away with asking something that is kind of SP agnostic
Can I use the same nozomi kernel module used with the Vodafone E220 modem with the F@stlink E220 USB modem? Also, are the vendor I.D.s for hotplug and the modem strings different?

They shouldn't be - lsusb will show the IDs
