Apple Support and Questions.

Hey there guys!

It's awesome to find a Forum that has a dedication to Mac's! Especially in South Africa!

Let me Introduce myself, I am from C3 - Applecart. One of the very few Apple Authorized Service Centers here in JHB. I stumbled on this forum by accident actually, I was looking for an answer to an odd 3G Question that one of my Mac customers had.

F.Y.I. The Huawei 3G E220 USB modems work great through Vodacom and MTN, we also have them working on other service providers which are based in other African countries (Such as CellTel in Zambia etc...)

Anyways, I thought I would post my 10c worth on these forums and invite anyone that has Apple related questions/queries even warranty queries to either post them here or to PM me.

We have an extremely talented and well trained technical department. In-Fact. Nuno just finished writing his Apple SAN Administration exam the other day, he got 94%. This basically means we have the most qualified Apple Server technician in the whole of Africa.

Our other technicians have various Apple qualifications under their belt. Such as Desktop and Notebook Repairs ect ect... We are Authorized to carry out Apple's warranties as well as doing Hardware repairs.

I really look forward to everyones comments and queries and will help wherever I can.

BTW - say hi to Nuno - he's helped me out quite a bit in times gone by and congrats on the exam results too.

@Bwana - can we have C3 listed as a representative - like V3G, MTN Data Dude etc? Unless we first test him a bit with some support issues

I was quite impressed with them (applecart) when I was looking desperately for my MiniDVI to VGA adaptor, they were the only ones to phone me back when they got them in stock a month down the line.

EDIT: Oh and welcome C3 to our local MAC forum

Everyone has to survive a baptism of fire The only problem is this isnt windows so compiling enough support issues might take a while
