Got a Netgear DG834G that I use as an ADSL router, now I need wireless connectivity in a different area thats already got ethernet cabling so I just need an AP there, don't need it to do DHCP or connect it to ADSL or anything, saw this was on special:

Linksys WRT54GL
http://www.pcmall.co.za/moreinfo.asp?sku=WRT54GL

I'm guessing that should work, what you guys think? Anybody got any other suggestions? What's PCMall like btw? Never bought from there before?

TIA

;)

It will do fine. Just connect your LAN cable into one of the LAN ports (not the WAN port) and disable DHCP and the WRT54GL will act as a simple access point. The WRT54GL is a very good box - stable & reliable. PCMall are good guys. If you're in Joburg you can pick it up from them in Sandton.

I have no connection with them except I bought a WRT54GL from them a few months ago.
