Alright, seeing as we NDS boi's don't have one, here is one right here!

To start it off... my copy of Elite Beat Agents AND Castlevania:Portrait of Ruin arrive tomorrow! Can't wait! These will bring my collection of NDS games up to 7 titles.

I tried out Elite Beat Agents. Looked like crazy fun. I'm busy with New Super Mario Bros and my girlfriend is playing Super Princess Peach. It is the first platform game she is playing without my help.

Kewl, I'm going to try and buy it next month, elite beat agents that is, just have to save a few bucks.
Where did you buy from? Take2?

Anyways, I'm playing Advance wars, it's great fun. Takes some time though.

I've never played Super Monkey Ball before, got it now, great game. The main game is a bit hard with the touch screen, so I mainly play with the D-Pad, but when I need to follow a line or something I use the touch screen.

There's a few games in the stores up here, but not many. Lots of movie based games, unfortunately though.

Are there any games you guys would recommend?

ahh yes, elite beat agents. its quite a cool game, but most of my nds time is spent on new super mario bros. very addictive :D other games i'd recommend: sonic rush, hotel dusk room 215, phoenix wright, animal crossing

I have elite beat agents and the japanese version as well ( Osu ouendan tatakae ! ) it is completely different ( strories and music ) and 2 is on the way ! And i got my castlevania portrait of ruin last week , yes so fun.
Cant wait for zelda : phantom hourglass though ! EEK!

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Chronos Twins and SimCity DS is on my top-list to buy. But the game I'm waiting for with bated breath... Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. It's my game of the year (and I haven't even played it yet).

I currently own:
  • Animal Crossing
  • Sonic Rush
  • New Super Mario Bros.
  • Super Mario 64 DS
  • Mario Kart DS

I get all my games from Take 2. :)

This is so great! first off..... Lord Spaceman u rock... secondly, if we can get this thread 2 sticky status it would be awesome for us. and lastly... Lord Spaceman.. permission 2 abandon my current thread and continue it here.

Permission Granted.

My copy of EBA and C:PoR have JUST arrived. They are American versions (brought through Take 2). Thank heavens the NDS is region-free!!!

Now I want this day to zip by to I can go home and play.

Get ready for anger management ! cause EBA is VERRY HARD ! I managed to finish it on normal , took me like 30+ times..but yeah still fun !

Thread Merge!

Thread Merge! ok i just abandoned my thread.. informed the guys that this environment is where we'll continue our talks on helping ppl like me on where 2 get a DS and also how coz i dnt know nothing on importing. an also another topic that arose... flash cards

hey i've had a DS a few days after it was released here, so that means i got those old chunky big silver ones :p

Current Games:
1) Super Mario 64 DS -> Great game, having played the N64 one, i still feel its great and improved

2) Wario Ware: Touched! -> This game kept me entertained for hours, even after i finished every little possible unlockable! I mean, this game is absolutetly fantastic! If u have a ds and not this game, u missing out!

3) Polarium -> Great new style puzzle game, but i finished it relatively quickly! There are 100 set puzzles to complete and the last 10 took me a week alone to figure out! Also theres challenge mode which is like tetris with polarium style :D

4) Castlevania: DoS -> I loved Aria of Sorrow on the GBA, and this is just better! More spells and items and great fluid gameplay, but it was a tad short, and even a tad easy (unless u play on julius mode!) :D

5) Advance Wars: DS -> This is the most time consuming game ever! Well not exactly but some of those missions kept me busy for a long time and with me, i cant leave something once ive started it, so each time i start a mission its just a lot of fun! (Except i cant stand Fog of War XD quite challenging!)

6) Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble -> My latest edition! It looks simply amazing! The environments look like 3D cartoons! Its amazing! And the fighting, although limited attacks, is fun! Also loving the powers like slowing down time and splitting the screen! Still busy with it so no clue as to how long but it doesnt feel like a long game... Still two difficulty leves tho, so it could keep me busy a bit :D

Btw, this is my first post here! I've been looking at these forums for a long while but i finally found a thread to reply to ^_^

Also, has anyone used their DS online? Mario Kart people, vs'd anyone over Wifi on the internet? or just against another person in real life?

Welcome to the thread Ravage. Glad you started with this thread :)

I've been trying to find Wario Ware:Touched as that is my next purchase, but Take 2 is out of stock. I tried it once and loved it - simply amazing and a lot of fun.

I've used my Wi-Fi once with 6 other players playing Mario Kart, but I've never taken it online. I might try get online once Pokemon Diamond/Pearl is released so I can fill up my Pokedex.

Hmm... you may have sold me on Advance Wars:DS as a "to-purchase". The GBA counterpart was pure brilliance and I enjoyed it a lot!

Depending on how I find Castlevania:Portrait of Ruin I may also get DoS. Only 1 more hour until me and my DS can unite!

mmmm i'm afraid you've lost me dablakmar8... i dont understand :s

@Lord_spaceman: Advance wars is great ^_^ even though the gfx are only a extremely minor improvement from the gba, its still as fun as ever :D

Post a little description of PoR when you get it then maybe i'll get it too :D
(i hope it goes back to the old Belmont stories, I'm interested as to how the touch screen will be used)

Firstly, where do I find my friend code. I bought my DS 2nd hand, so I'm not sure if it's missing or what? Help.

Secondly, I also own the Nintendo USB wifi thing. I do find it's very slow in finding me a partner with whom to play Mario Kart or Tetris. Also, I cannot use that to download additional stuff for say, Brainage. Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong?

Third: can you only pictochat with people in your close vicinity, can you not use the wifi thing?

Forth:
Games I own:
Sonic Rush
Worms
Castevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Brainage

Fifth, games I don't own but have played many times because of magical flash dreams I have:
Bomberman
Elektroplankton
Hotel Dusk
Mario Kart
Meteos
Metroid Prime Hunters
Metroid Prime Pinball
New Super Mario Brothers
Nintendogs
Phoenix Wright
Point Blank
Polarium
Spectobes
Starfox Command
Super Monkey Ball
Trauma Centre
Warioware
Yoshi

Anyone want to play these with me, just give me your friend code.

1) I am 95% sure that the friends code differs with each game, and that maybe not all games have/need a friends code. It does not come with a DS.

2) Finding races or opponents may be easy if you pre arrange it with someone to play with. I do not know the problem with downloading new content though.

3) Pictochat was released with the NDS itself, and at that time the wifi service was not operational. I am not sure if this is the case with the DS Lite as they may have changed the firmware.

4) Buy more ^_^

5) Yes, i'm sure they're just "dreams"
