I just want to know what would be the minimum I would have to pay for a local only cap of 10Gb from Openweb (everything included)?

Would it be possible to work on a month to month contract instead of 24months (line rental) type contract?

What would be the conditions if I would like to move the line to another location or cancel it?

Well including the line rental, you'd pay R152 (assuming 384 at the new price) + R69 for 10GB of local = R221

I'm not sure if you meant including the line rental, but there is nothing else to pay besides the R69 for the account if you already have an ADSL line.

It is on a month to month contract, and your line rental should be too unless you applied for the old free modem offers.

Thank you for the information, I'm on HSDPA and I'm killing my bundle with local speed tests and other locally transmitted data, thats why i thought getting a local account for that purpose would help.

Seems to me that it wouldn't help much as I would need to buy a adsl modem, and if i'm not able to use up the 10gig, cause "local ISN'T lekker", theres no downloadable content local, it would go to waste. :(

I know of the local torrent site Greenlab, but have you seen lately how far behind in content they are, as all the files that I'm interested in are still only available internationally, and the fact that they are so highly strict when it comes to download / upload rates, doesn't make it worth the effort at this point in time. They are making progress, negating the fact they are relatively new and lack the user support, but for now.......

Didn't register because of the fact they only host binary files :)

They host the NBZ's and you use those to download the content through grabit or any other Newsgroup reader/downloader.

You also don't need to buy an ADSL modem, you get it free when you do the self install for ADSL.
