OK, I'm stumped. I can't see a sticky thread or a direct answer in search.
I'm familiar with buying data bundles on prepaid - both Vodacom and MTN. Now I want to buy a data bundle on my MTN contract number for occasional use on my phone.
How do you do it? Is the only way to phone 808? Because they say they can do it, but they can't explain whether I can buy I once-off bundle - the only thing they suggest is buying a repeating bundle and then cancelling it.
Terms here, prices here, but how do you order them? Any USSD method, SMS method, IVR method, online method?
And can you order a single month instead of a repeating bundle? Do the terms "Ad hoc" and "Topup" apply here?
If I need to order through 808 I want to know exactly what I'm asking for!
Obviously the same old constraints apply: no rollover, only one bundle at a time, only one bundle per month, bundles expire at your contract billing date. I'll grumble and live with those.
