Neotel consumer service details

mmm, product looks good (depending on contention ratio's), now just about pricing

Telkom 4mb is more like 512kb the past month, so 700k is good.

If that is uncapped for about R1000 with reduction in call costs, this wil FLY!.

everybody moans the about how 'slow' telkoms adsl is compared to rest of world, now they say 'high speed' and its less than the 4mbps? and propably not cheaper? am i missing something?

in Feb 2008 vodacom (and mtn i suppos) will have hsdpa @ over 3mbps? so how can 2mbps be considered fast?

Sub 1Mbps...I'll pass

We're not in the bloody 90's anymore to have to be content with 700kbps

I can understand that view from you guys with adsl feo :)

But considering that loads of us don't even have dial up because of the costs, even their basic offering would be an improvement for us. Based on affordability of course.

No prices, what a waste of reading time. I don't want voice and sms with my internet. Please don't include useless crap with all your services to try and justify the high costs.

If there is a high cap for a reasonable price I am in. It would be really cool if the ISPs like Axxess could offer prepaid bandwidth like they do for ADSL for the Neotel network. Obviously the price per gig would have to be lower.

R1000!!! WTF?!?!?!?

You are being sarcastic, right?

Well that announcement was totally UNDERWHELMING!!! Average throughput of 300-700Kbps?? WTF??

Telkom must be smiling.. At least they have another year almost with no competition..

My thoughts too.

Neotel seems to be dragging it's feet?

Neotel is not competition, it's a joke. Go back from whence you came and can we have someone else, from a 1st world country, come over here and show these morons how it's really done?! I'm so sick of this country's inability to get anything right!!!

Maybe we should disillusion ourselves and believe that the article was saying 700kilobytes per second, rather than kilobits...
