Hey Friends,

As with every month, between the 1st and 15th, we provide FREE anonymous access to our Unshaping Socks Server.

For the newbsies out there, this basically allows SAIX, iBURST and MyWireless users (IS users are already mostly unshaped), to unshape their P2P downloads, and any other shaped port, by using our 100mb/s server in the USA.

Access to the server is granted through an unshaped port (20 in this case), thus, p2p etc downloads will occur at the FULL speed of your line, depending on quality of sources.

Herewith the server details:

Socks: free.blazetalk.com 20
Proxy: free.blazetalk.com 443

Username: openweb
Password: free

You can find some how-to guides here:

For more info, you can also have a look at our FAQ:

I would appreciate your feedback on this thread.

Have a great evening!

Kind Regards
MrBEEP

Always good to be a noob.

I used to have this sevice where you had to sign up but it was still free.. the free4.blazetalk.com one you know..

Just about two days ago it stopped working, was wondering why..
Thanks alot, I can enjoy limewire and anonoumisity (no idea how to spell) again!

I would love to get some feedback on how you guys are enjoying this service.

Is it something we should continue offering?

Its nice.. Only traffic I push thru there is my mud which speeds up slightly :) but i get odd lag. e.g. it seems to come thru bursty -shrug- but not sure yet why since sprintlink has been having issues and the mud i play is on the sprintlink network.

MR Beep - this whole month i have again not been able to make use of this as it just doesnt work. I've noticed the password changes etc. i've changed whatever i had to and i loose all connectivity with whichever p2p or torrent software i use.

been using this for int surfing with sentech's int being so bad. no problem with surfing. just wish it could stay free permanently

Mr Beep

It's really great that you offer us all this an you should definitely continue with it!!! :-)

Something that may be better than the "Free For FIRST 15 Days Of The Month" is "Free For The LAST 15 Days Of The Month". This way we can max out on the last day of the month and make the most of our caps before being reconnected on the 1st and avoid the trouble of reaching our cap on the 3rd of every month.

Im trying Bitcomet but its not connecting at all. when i disable the proxy it works. i tried both ports 20 and 443. any ideas ?

I think the idea is for you to miss it when its gone :) as they do a paid service along the same lines.

BTW - I dont regret subscribing.

Mr Beep,

Is the socks service different to the international surfing thing..?

Thanks alot

Same problem...

MrBeep, why not provide a full VPN service over an unshaped port? Not all applications support SOCKS.

That is a good idea. I will defenitely look into it.

I can't connect when using BitComet / GetRight using either the Socks or Proxy. I get full speeds on torrents, limewire, http downloads anyway, so it doesn't really bother me. Pity it won't work for me.
