Hi folks

I am glad to announce that the 2006 MyADSL Broadband Conference will take place on the 24th of November from 12:00 – 18:00 at Vodaworld.

To book your place please visit http://www.mydrive.co.za/phpsurveyor/index.php?sid=21 and fill out the short form. This conference is completely free and there may even be a prize or two for delegates :D

Please also find a rough draft of the conference programs. Speakers from Vodacom, DataPro, iBurst, Sentech, Neology, Neotel and MyADSL will present.

Thanks a bunch for Vodacom and DataPro for sponsoring this conference.

If you spot any mistakes in the brochure please let us know.

Thanks for the feedback.

ADLO: We had very little time to organize the event (from the beginning of the week) but I think it will definitely be worth it. Interesting speakers…and the price is right :D

Noswal: We invited all the BB providers, including Telkom. Sad that they are hiding away…

rpm: in your blurb, it should be "...how do these services fare" not "fair"

To nitpick:

Pieter Uys:
"...what we can expect from Vodacom." ("in future" is redundant)

Who is "cara" that I've been hearing about a lot the last couple of weeks? I saw some articles she wrote for MyADSL, is she on the forum, where does she fit in? :confused: I notice she is also the contact on the brochure.

I too will not be able too attend but thats why we hopefully will get both audio & video coverage :rolleyes: .

Hi lilDeath

I help rpm out with the site and fill in the gaps when and if needed.

If you want a formal description I have been known to do the following: tea girl, receptionist, filling, blogger, reporter, editor, rpm's PA when needed, admin exec of note :D and I handle the advertising. And now I'm helping with the conference.

P.S. Vodacom's organising the refreshments and my past experience of their press briefings is that they do a very good job.
