There's already daily content added online to the sunday times site - this is a physical newspaper.

Not really.

The Daily Sun launched just a few years ago now has SA's biggest circulation - it is a case of finding the right market.

Sunday Times daily will be interesting, they will be competing in an already very-competitive environment. The two most recent entrants into this market failed (ThisDay and the other one...um Nova?). Will be very interesting to see how this one does.
 
I think the fact that they will be giving the newspaper away to Sunday Times subscribers is a good diea, will help with their initial numbers but as mentioned it's a competitive market and they will need to find their niche.
