Guess my sport thread

Hello everyone! Here's a lovely quiz for the forum.
I will give some hints and tips as to what sport I play, you all ask questions (which I will answer) Once someone has guessed correctly someone else can have a turn with their sport.

My sport is relatively new to SA.
It's exciting!!!!
It is based on competition.
I must be a good leader to succeed in my sport.
I may NOT touch my equipment while competing

Is it a male or female orientated sport?
Indoor or outdoor?
Strenuous?
How long does a match/game/competition last?
Do you have to wear special clothing?

Is it a male or female orientated sport? Both
Indoor or outdoor? Outdoor in SA although a lot of oversees countries compete indoors
Strenuous? No but you have to be fit if you want to succeed
How long does a match/game/competition last? The competition could go on for a whole day/days but the competitors contribution is only for a minute or so at a time
Do you have to wear special clothing? Only if representing Province or country otherwise just something comfortable that you can move well in. Good strong gripped shoes are a must!

Hint: My "equipment" follows my lead.... I may not touch it. :D
