First social networking platform for cellphones launches in SA

Will this make de Lille's fears a reality? MXit's defense is the inability of photo and video sharing on its site. This one will by-pass that. Just hope they have some good security in place for people accessing other people's photo's, videos etc.

I'm sure it will be like Torrent sites, where other people only have access to whatever you decide to share.

yea where is the webie address ;(

luv this bit
"But only time and consumer discretion will tell if a social networking application will sink or swim."

Heheh I know the guy who helped develop this system. It's quite cool actually ^_^

Hehe, that'd me me Anti.

And no Oupoot this wont make De Lille's fears a reality. The only thing she needs to fear is her own stupidity.
The photo and content sharing is like any other photo sharing feature on a site, except it can be accessed via your phone.

magneto: The sink or swim comment was not about social networking, we all know that's working, but rather about the application we've created for cellphone users is new territory.

In fact, I hope you guys have checked out mobimii to make up your own minds instead of relying on De Lille. - and any comments and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
:)
