Neotel's WiMAX-based broadband offering will be available towards the end of 2007

Towards the end of 2007??? Nice to see they're setting themselves hard, definite deadlines *sarcasm* :)

Remember when they were targeting the first quarter of 2007?

Reading the thread title, I thought they're finally giving a price on something :(

Not even a clue what their offerings really going to be like. Nothing really new was mentioned, we guessed what technologies were going to be used already.

No word on how they plan to shape bandwith?
mmm...will have to wait and see then..

So the waiting game continues.....

I would love to know at what price these services will be offered, but I presume that will be a closely guarded secret.

good example of allot of words saying nothing.

hasn't this been already posted before on myadsl ?

or the other usuals

i catching headline

i want to get u upset content about something related to telkom's incompetence

and then obviously the forums replies on how its bad and unacceptable...

with average customer experience ranging from 200 to 500 kbps for the high-speed Internet offering

200-500kbps? thats like close to edge speed on a wireless connection... thats rather pathetic... or am i reading something incorrectly?

No word on any caps they will have either, or are they going to go with the 3gb-is-enough-for-the-average-user model too?

Well i max out at about 425 kbps on my Telkom 4Meg (4 Mbps) line. They (Neotel) say "allowing for peak speeds of 2.4 Mbps" with "average customer experience ranging from 200 to 500 kbps". How can they advetise/state "500 kbps" when the "MAX" is only "2.4 Mbps". Please Explain!!!!!!????????????
