After ditching ADSL and getting an 8ta dongle (ironically) I didn't have WiFi as my router doesn't have a USB slot to take the 3G dongle.
I found the following article very useful, but had to make a couple of changes (see after the quote) to get it to work for me...
Does anybody know how flash a CellC 3G modem/router (the shiny black card size one, from a CellCSmartData contract)? I bought an 8ta data bundle with SIM card and initially it all worked but then the modem started disconnecting. Only after swithing it off and on it would pop up as a D: drive and...
I have the above and am batteling to get the 3G Modem to work through the Routher. I installed the latest FW for the Router and reset everything on through Netgear's site but still no luck.

Hi,
I'm looking for a wifi router that can either take sim cards or usb modems to access both Vodacom and CellC networks with - they needn't access both at the same time obviously, but I must be able to either put in the sim or usb modem for the appropriate network, and then have internet...
Hi All
I have a Acer Iconia A500 Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet and I am loving it. One of it's massive advantages is the usable USB port which can connect to FAT32 formatted stuff such as my flashdrives and my cellphone. It alloys me to transfer music and other files and also provides power to...
Hi All
Not sure if this is the correct place to post HELP questions, but here it goes. I’m having trouble with my K3765 modem. The thing is the first time you connect it it works like a charm, but once removed and I try using it again it doesn’t. It seem like each time it is trying to install...

I have another MTN...

The laptop also needs to have an integrated 3G modem, and an HDMI port. Please help!
Would it be easier to just buy Windows 7 64 bit retail...
As a newby to the wifi world, I thought I'd simply buy a router, and plug my vodacom e272 modem into it, and in a couple of secs I'd be sharing my internet connection? Wrong!
I bought a sitecom 3G Ready ("Wireless Network UMTS Router 54G") wireless router at Dion Wired, and I've managed to get...
