1Mbps uncapped ADSL pricing: will ISPs compete with MWEB?

Who still uses 1Mbps not even to speak about 512? It must take ages to load a heavy populated page...

shame and the 384k people are still not getting anything

what about 384K... when they going to cancel that... anyone still on dialup...

I was hoping Axxess would match Mweb. Guess it's time to move to Mweb and see how that works out for me.

Sigh. I think this is a mistake. 512 should be kept for those that can't get 1Mb/s and The contention ratios are bad enough as it is. Making it R299 instead of R379 will just make it worse.

We all know that 512 users were getting 384 speeds and so on. So those on 1meg will have upgraded to 512. Congrats!

I asked them now to convert my account to this from the justsurf option (was away for awhile and the wife only needs http so justsurf was fine for her) and they told me to pay in the difference of the two accounts (difference between express and surf). This after they billed me for april even though my line was suspended (sue me, didn't feel like paying telkom). So in essence I paid them for april and they can't even convert my account to express for the last FIVE friggin' days of of this month

Cheers Axxess, hello there MWEB - lookin' mighty fine there

The whole thing makes me ill. Can't they just scrap 384k and 512k, reduce 4Mpbs price and everyone will have the same. I'm sure the Communist party will help out in this regard.

I still can't handle the massive pictures of telecoms execs in the middle of articles. Not entirely sure what the purpose of these are, but they could at least be a little less imposing.
