2025 Suzuki Swift Manual Performance Issues

I recently bought the new 2025 Suzuki Swift GLX Manual and have noticed some performance issues:

Occasional power loss in certain gears, especially when warm.

Inconsistent acceleration—hesitation or surging at times.
Fuel economy is lower than expected despite normal driving habits.

These issues happen randomly, regardless of driving conditions. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar? Possible causes could be the MAF sensor, ignition coils, or air intake leaks.

According to Suzuki they see no physical or software issues.

Would love to hear if others have faced this and what solutions worked!

It's brand new. Take it back to the dealer and go for a drive with the tech/mech and show them the issues firsthand.
 
Got it. Will go test demo models and get second opinions as well if it persists. According to the tech theres nothing physically or software related wrong. But they could not provide any test.
Do that soon though, the longer you wait the harder it gets to convince them to help, in my experience.
 
Suzuki must fix it not you.

Arrange a loan car and leave it with them till they sort it out.

Don't do anything or alter anything or you might have issues with them.
 
Nope you're thinking of HP vs KW
A 1972 VW Beetle typically had a 1.6-liter engine producing around 48 horsepower (36kw)
But even then doesn't make it :p
Quick question, this is the old 4 cylinder specs:
  • Power Output: Approximately 82 horsepower (61 kW) at 6,000 rpm
  • Torque: 113 Nm at 4,400 rpm

    This is new:
    • Power: 60kW @ 5700 rpm
    • Torque: 112Nm @ 4300 rpm

      Arent there supposed to be better torque then on lower RPM ? I know alot about cars, but when it comes to engine, I cannot tell you much. Hence coming to forums like these with the issues/problems I am observing and experiencing.
 
Also a sidenote to the issue, the issue/problem I am experiencing normally happens in 2nd and 3rd gear between 2k and 3K rpm when accelarating. (Feels like a turbo lag/spooling effect).
