21Mbps is the max theoretical speed of the modem. So no.
 
Hi there was wondering if i could connect my K4605 vodacom data card to it ,and would it work?

Hi

I recently bought the D105 router from Take 2

Because I could not find it at any Cell C store.

So I have to set it up manually

I've got the APN as internet and username and password as guest and the service number as *99#

I'm getting an dsn and ip address but the connection keeps saying down and I can't get onto the internet.

Any ideas of what I'm missing? If any body that has a D105 can post screen shots of there setup it would be great.

Its is a Huawei modem so don't see why it would not.
i would first check.

But even when we were messaging each other directly over this, we couldn't find a solution ? Are you saying that there is in fact one that will make the Linksys E3000 DD-WRT work with the 668 Modem ?

I really need some help. I purchased the TP-LINK MR3420 router to use with my Huawei E180 modem(with cellc sim). It just won't connect. It cycles through identifying,connecting,unplugged, identifying..... If i put my cellc sim in my older E220 modem, it works fine. I have updated firmware on my modem and router with no joy.

Any suggestions?

E180 or E1820? E1820 works perfectly - upgraded router firmware yet? sorry, see you've done that - what version? switched power off on router, boot router and then connected modem? router set to reconnect automatically? idle time=0? modem works well in PC/laptop?

Def E180 modem. firmware is the latest one currently on their site TL-MR3420_v1_110617 . Modem works great in my pc(although it only connects on 2nd redial-every time. i get a error 619). Router gets a connection if i leave it over night. I've set it to automatically connect with idle time set to 0. Once connected it works great and i haven't had a dropped connection.

I've got the E1820 and the MR3420 - the router generally picks up the modem within 5mins, but sometimes takes ages to log onto the Cell C network

It may sound strange but take the router and modem to a different location and test again. I had funnies with the router and modem combination but not with modem and pc combination. When I took it to work to test there all was fine. After a few weeks the funnies at my place disappeared. Could never get a satisfactory explanation.

could you determine if it perhaps has something to do with the modem signal strength?
My modem indicates 48 - 62% signal in the router webpage - will try your advice tomorrow - weird thing is just, that it sometimes doesn't struggle at all to connect and has even stayed connected for longer than 4 days at a time

No, not related to signal strength. Your signal is fine.
