Neotel is one of the many providers on this POC.
Not sure if the ping is real or not, we've been running some geo-IP stuff today which may confuse some results.

Well Im really satisfied so far, ping to Frankfurt is 199, a new all time low.
 
Hey AH. Back on my old business account, and hence some old issues.
How is it possible to get a speedtest result of 0,03 mbps on saix.net but then go on to get download speeds of 310 KB/s on p2p?
I really am battling to understand this.
 
Oh and AfriGuy - I am sure you can understand the following request:
Please can you ensure that my old business account is not locked as I will be using it instead of AfriGreen - with all the issues with my exchange etc I really don't see chance of having to battle with AfriGreen until the kinks are worked out.
So ie please can my old business account remain open and thus lock the AfriGreen account that has been allocated to me.
As said above - I am sure you can understand this request.

Are these results from our network or using the Telkom guest account?
Please go through my posts over on the POC thread re locking accounts etc. It's been mentioned a few times.
 
Those terrible Steam speeds I mentioned yesterday completed cleared up from around 1am this morning. Then they returned to crap before 9am and remained there. Current speed is 333KB/s with 18 hours remaining on my Wolfenstein download.

Speeds using AH business account. Not AfriGreen.
Yes i realise that locking of accounts have been mentioned but I am asking to stay on my old account. So if I want to stay on my old account, please advise the steps I need to follow.

I don't want my old account locked. Lock my AfriGreen one.

Again, we aren't locking any accounts now.
If you want to use your old account you just re-enter the @afrihost details into your router.

it makes no sense to cancel/ lock your POC account now. It's early days, just give it some time :)

Glad to hear that I can still use the old one.
But I am a bit confused as you said in the POC thread that the accounts will be locked immediately.

I had just got on afrigreen. performance is better, but still up and down. spiking to 3mb/s then drops.

Please post your results in the ClientZone submission form, or the official feedback thread. I am sure we can iron out that problem for you and anyone else experiencing this.
 
Already at 300ms local latency on MTN Account, Afrigreen account wont open banking websites. Stuck here, neither account works properly....

Awesome - that's really great to hear. We've made some great strides in improving our overall service, but especially after hours :(
