I'm not sure that we're having DNS problems, I definitely did not pick up on this, but I am seeing people using different DNS providers see some issues, we're still testing to replicate this.

We only use Youtube, none of the other services, we do use gmail, but we get email via outlook, not from the gmail web client.

other sites, will also be slow, even myadsl. Sites used to open almost immediately, now take a while to open.

So it's sites across the board that are slow and unresponsive to open?

I don't monitor the file transfers constantly, things generally move overnight for the most part ( and they're generally complete by the morning ) - But sometimes new stuff comes in during the day and that's where I see it being a bit slow. It's not critical, because I can always do an HTTP or FTP transfer if it's urgent, it'd just be good to see it run at a higher speed.

Interestingly, my secondary offsite backup spot running on an uncapped home 1MB account is getting full speed while my business uncapped is getting ~70kB/s

Wonder if there's some weird shaping applied to business accounts on that protocol ( or only the higher speed accounts? ) that's getting in the way.

Wait, no. I'm being an idiot. My PS4 at home is downloading 10s of GB of games.

Generally yes, but the most consistent problem is Youtube, and downloads from Windows Update, Gog.com are slow. Sites like supersport I no longer use as its pointless to watch anything online

We'll need to troubleshoot here, so any results you can post are helpful. From AfriGuy's tests, everything definitely seems 100%.

What results do you want, I have already posted a screenshot of the tracert to youtube, which shows vastly different results to your tests

That was for YouTube specifically though, but you're mentioning a host of other sites see a similar issue.
Will you be able to test using the Afrigreen account? Or a 1GB free account as a starting point?

I am not in the office now, so I could maybe do some tests tonight. Do you only want tracerts? What I do find odd is that all the speedtest sites show my line as running at full speed, ping, latency is all lower than its been in months, yet browsing does not show the same.

Try and run the same tests I ran earlier, easier to compare that way.
 
yes i read it and want to say local browsing is ok but international is come and go with a lot of time outs with your dns and google dns
something is definitely up the last couple of days
