Afrihost Business Uncapped Feedback - Part 3

Streaming tonight was totally impossible. Changed to Afrigreen and it's working. Hopefully it doesn't suddenly go dead again.

That looks pretty awful - looks like packet loss everywhere :(

Did you see the same on AfriGreen?

Actually had to juggle between them, Afrigreen wouldn't work had to shift to Business Business would become impossible to use so back to Green ended the evening feeling Blue :(

There wasn't nearly as much packet loss on Green, throughput was the problem there and the constant disconnections.

I believe Afrigreen testing completed for the day last night a little before midnight.
Could you test again today? Seeing much better performance so far :)
 
Last night whilst trying to dl drivers for my PC for windows 10, I was experiencing extremely slow connections - timeouts and regular disconnects with both Afrigreen and afrihost... dl speeds yo-yoed between 7Kb and 9Kb whilst browing to mybroadband.co.za timed out...

Tried tracerouting to asrock's site as well as google.com failed 9/10 attempts.

After 12am downloads somewhat returned to normal

What was going on?

Did you see this across both accounts?
Afrigreen tweaking should have been completed a little before midnight last night.

yeah was on both accounts. Been running normal AH account and switched over to afrigreen around 9ish last night - same issues.

reverted back to AH after 10, everything kept yo-yoing

I couldn't even download Google Chrome, or Dropbox, eset AV couldn't download the latest definitions, etc

Those changes should have been completed before midnight - would you mind testing again today and dump some info for Afrigreen here. Thanks :)
 
Quick question: If I apply to cancel my Afrihost account now, will I still be able to use it until the end of the month (August)? Or do I need to wait and cancel at the last possible moment of the month?

Greetings :)

It'll still be available for use, definitely.
If you cancel now, it should be scheduled for cancellation for the last day of August. Cancellations will need to be in before the 25th of each month for it to take affect that month.

Afrigreen should be fine, I'm running some tests there and can't see an issue.
Could you PM me your DSL username so I can check what the problem is?

So what makes you think that you are special? We all have that - just tired of complaining and doing tests.

Just posting what I see on my end.
This is the feedback thread, is it not? So I am giving my feedback. Although it's not great feedback, it's something.
