Thanks for the reply!!
Did the upgrade request yesterday. An hour later my ATV4k was getting 868MB/s on Speedtest.
New invoice already received - All great @ R1497 p/m

Only problem now is I have to figure out how to run cables through the house because my wifi can't keep up

You can always get a wifi extender to boost your WiFi signal. There are different options you can consider, from as little R249.00

Check out Ubiquiti's Amplifi range - they quite expensive but offer a mean mesh network. Set it up for my folks and I am able to share their internet with my sister who lives in an apartment one floor down.

Thanks. My old ISP is saying that the invoice for the cancellation of services will be sent on 1 August. Is that still okay for Afrihost compensating with credit?
I got the same response now as well.

Thanks. Will definitely start looking around. For now managed to run a CAT6 cable between router and "study", connecting to GB switch. As the Dlink is a GB router, now have GB throughput to the PC's.
The phone and tablets can have the wifi hehe

So I've officially given up trying to change ISPs early. Cool ideas are telling me SADV won't change line early and SADV are saying Cool Ideas won't let them change the line. Oh well - atleast I can say I tried

Nice man, sounds like you've made a nice plan over there! Hope you've done some nice cable work so you don't get shouted at for messy cables running down passages

Hi, I am trying to sign up for frogfoot on afrihost, but it currently only shows 100/10 Mbs option. Does afrihost not offer 100/100 option on frogfoot?

That's pretty weird. Cool Ideas has 100/100 - I wonder why Afrihost wouldn't.

There is a 100/100 on FF i believe? R1017 pmScreenshot_20190721-214442_Chrome.jpg

i missed that, pictures don't lie, shot, must have been fixed.
Sorry about that wingnut771, our price for FrogFoot Fibre on a 200/200mbps profile is R1297 pm, I believe there may have been a mistake with the pricing previously. My apologies about that.

woke up this morning to no internet, posting here with 3G.

received an email from vuma yesterday confirming cancellation of macrolan.

now i sit and wait, shop.vuma is also no use with only check coverage button.

afrihost fibre "pending" in clientzone.
shop.vuma is broken.

logged a support query this morning when I woke up, no response yet, phoned vuma, they say ah need to activate, i see nothing has changed at ah, everyone sleeping at their desk:
i ordered this 2 weeks ago, today is supposed to be day 1:
