Are you taking about the package change page? Remember it won't show you the package you're currently on, as it won't be a valid option.

If you've reported that cosmetic ClientZone error to Afrifella, I am sure he's passed it onto our Dev team. Will follow up with him.
Yes, the package change page. Surely there must be other options besides 100, 500, and 1000 (excl 200) ? Was think of increasing my package to 300 (+300) for until end of August, but you don't have that option.
Clientzone has always been correct on both pages, why the issue now ? As long as it doesn't result in me being cut off....

and guess what happens... YOU ^%&%^&% CUT ME OFF !!!!:mad:

I've asked you repeatedly to ensure that my data reflects corrrectly.. you in your wisdom decided it's cosmetic. Guess what ???

So... any feedback on the different packages I've asked about ? I'm guessing you're shying away from trying to explain why my account got capped because of a cosmetic error ...

I believe I had a chat with you earlier today on Twitter as well, I am glad that our Team was able to assist you in getting this resolved. You can always PM me directly here if you have any questions or queries as well.

I was doing the chatting, remember ? :)
It's easy.. just respond to my 2 questions above..
1. Feedback on the different packages
2. Why did a 'cosmectic error' cause my account to be capped, after I repeatedly asked about it ? Kudos to the support guy on Whatsapp , after eventually believing me that I actually have data and that the error is on your side, made sure that I got reconnected

Probably best to chat on PM about this :)

Let me ask the 'package' question differently... AH is only offering 100(1257) , 200(1357), 500(1807) and 1000(2457). There's a need for something between 200 and 500. Well, I have that need to pay R100 more and get 300, not R450 more for a total overkill in my case. So, I'll ask the question again... why not anything between 200 and 500 ? On the ADSL side you have 200,300,400,600,800,1TB, which makes sense to me

Fibre Bundles and pricing is largely determined by the fibre provider, which is why options vary between providers, but also differs from ADSL (where we create our own options). We work closely with each provider to present the best possible packages and we have great relationships with them all. I'm sure that you will only see a wider range of options as time goes on.

Thanks, I hear what you say... BUT as an example WebAfrica has 200,300,400,600,800 etc available via Openserve. You have 200,500,etc to the same fibre provider. As a matter of fact,,, you have the same options available from ALL fibre providers. Axxess has the same options as WA, so if it's really about the provider, then you should be able to offer same

I think it also comes down to demand for that product at this point. :) Plus+ with the Double Data benefit does also bridge that gap.

Not sure what demand has to do with it. It's not going to cost you a cent offering the other options, and if it does, you'll make more money out of people like me who need that little bit more data. And no, it doesn't bridge the gap . I have double data .. 200 double gives me 400 . I want 300 doubled (at R100 more)... not your next option which is 500 (at R450 more) which will give me a TB that I don't need.

You guys just need to decide now... is the problem caused by the fibre provider as Fella stated or the consumer not demanding it , or none of the above ? :) Surely your competitors seem have that out sorted out, since they are offering it ...

Btw, I see my allocation still reflects incorrectly.

It's a bit of both, the line speed profiles are determined by the providers, where the data packages are created by us. :)

The usage is definitely correct, I can confirm that, there could be a bit of a delay between the data being used and the ClientZone updating to reflect the usage. I'll keep an eye on this from my side.

Lovely... so just add those 300 and 400 in there ...

Ok, so my current available is either 325 or 350 ? Which of the 2 figures is it ? (forget about the actual data being used... I'm talking about the 2 amounts displayed on the Clientzone)

After weeks of struggle I'm finally free from afrihost. Will NEVER use them again.

Been down since yesterday with no resolution. Tried Whatsapp support... After an hour of waiting for feedback that there is a problem in my area - nothing. The representative tells me he has to ask a manager to log a call because all his people have gone home. I will get an SMS or phone call - again nothing.

Tried live chat for an hour yesterday. Reset ONT. Reset router. Connected ONT direct to laptop - and again, nothing.

Network status shows no problems on fibre network, yet my connection is not issuing an IP for the Internet.

There has to be an easier way to get support!! - Next step please?

Vuma Aerial & Afrihost Premium uncapped 20/20 - Wilro Park, Roodepoort

Logged a ticket via Client Zone on LTE backup

There is definitely something weird going on in Roodepoort. We've been talking to Vuma via our NOC team to try and get this resolved. It looks like we're still working on it, though some clients are reporting that they're back up.

We've got a notice on our website - we'll post any updates there :( https://www.afrihost.com/site/network_status
