Afrihost Gamer typical speeds

I'm considering moving off my OpenWeb Gold Uncapped account to Afrihost's Gamer capped offering. Can anyone give me an idea of what speeds people achieve during office hours? Afrihost claims it is totally unshaped... anyone confirm this? Can I expect full 10mbit down?

It is an unshaped account, as it works similarly to a 35GB capped account. Only difference is free bandwidth to our games servers (with very low latency).

But AfriGuy, aren't all capped accounts unshapped?
Is there a difference between the 5GB prepaid account and the gammer? Except for low latency on your gaming server?

I have a 10meg adsl line and when using the 1GB free Afrihost account, I get full speed. Well, when the exchange isn't congested.
By full speed I mean ~8Mbps - 8.5Mbps, you'll never get 10Mbps down using Telkom's ADSL due to overheads.

Gammer? Afrigamer?

Afrigamer is essentially a capped, unshaped account. So yes, only difference is access to game servers (free)
