Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

I received email with tracking link on Friday. Delivery for 26th August. When I checked the link again this morning, same thing. Few hours later the date and time is no longer there. If there was an error with regard to their delivery dates, inform the recipients of the said error via email. Don't just ignore the problem. People have made arrangements for receiving their deliveries.
 
Some people has received their parcel, some are waiting for delivery and my clientzone still doesnt even have payment verified although payment has gone off last week already :confused:
 
I just went from "Delivery will be before 16:00 on 26 August" to it will be delivered in the course of the week...apparently they a bit overwhelmed, will be sending it out in batches...CPT...so I wait...

Again, they do not have the competence or the infrastructure to handle what Afrihost requires, hope the agreement then entered into with MTN is more reliable than this
 
Just spoke to MDS, apparently there was a system error regarding delivery and orders will not be sent out today. This is great news considering i've moved meetings to ensure i was available for RICA. Poor form MDS, and why can Afrihost not use an real delivery company since it seems MDS has neither the competence nor the infrastructure to handle the scale required from Afrihost

Same here. Really screwed up our day.
 
Update. I just go off the phone with MDS(Durban). They said that I will receive mine anytime from now till Friday. They cannot even tell if the parcel is in their branch or not. So delivery date is unknown for now. And they will not deliver to any persons other than addressed recipient. Parcels are marked next day delivery. I hope Afrihost is not paying them next day delivery prices for economy services.

Then they better hope I'm here when they deliver my device, or come back when I am here. I'm not paying for a second attempt.
