Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Mine is also still on parcel packed, been there since the 23rd.

So I received an email on Saturday from MDS with my waybill no and it said that delivery will take place on Monday 26th. So I called on Monday late afternoon and they told me that my package is due tomorrow. The next day I called after lunch and then mds tells me my package is in JHB depot and at this point they unsure when delivery will take place.... so then why send out an email with my waybill no that said delivery will take place on the 26th before 16h00.... what surprises me is the fact that I ordered my package before many of my friends and they received it on Monday/Tuesday. Anyways today I called once again and still no progress in my order, this is just bad service delivery if you not able to track your own product
 
With such a large order (which might have been scoped & quoted @ 100 units initially), I'm sure price was a MAJOR factor in picking the delivery agents.

No complaints about the delivery from my side (My life does not depend on the device / data) however it is with a near morbid fascination that I watch how the delivery dates/times/distances keep on changing.

Estimated time of delivery is 15:29 on 28 August
Driver is currently 1.95 Km from delivery point.

Delivery time is starting to slip now, was now()+ ~1.5hrs the whole day. See it is now()+ ~2hrs at the moment.
The 29th August is yet another day ...

The impatience (read excitement) runs wild though :D

Delivery time seems to increase by two hours every hour.

This is ridiculous. Did Johan van Heerden previously work at Netdynamix or what?

Afrihost, your business partner has let you down big time. Perhaps you should rethink this service provider of yours as it will only lead to many unhappy incovenienced clients. This company (MDS Collivery) does not even have a shred of decency. I emailed them and the first time I had not gotten a response. After the second email, I get a message from this @ss Johan van Heerden simply stating that they will email me when the driver is dispatched. No apology/excuse just a @#cken one liner.
Is this the kind of service provider Afrihost wants associated with their name.

In any case, I called up the Cape Town branch and guys is unable to tell me if they have it there so that I can arrange to collect. Guy tells me they got 5 big bags of this items this morning only and have not sorted it out yet, so he is unable to tell me. He then goes further to say that they have not even sorted out the items they got on Monday.

So when do you think we might get this stuff? 2014 perhaps?
 
I stopped expecting or tracking my parcel, but today is the 3rd day in a row they have sent a driver to my residential address instead of to my work address.

Fun times.
 
Does anyone know where the JHB Depot is?
I'm sure it wont be at their Head Office. Hopefully close to fourways and ill drive there myself.

Okay I'm not sure, but I'd suspect that this will not be where they store all parcels.

They supposed to be delivering today, not holding my breath.
Also still waiting for a refund of over R900, easier to go get root canal done than to get a refund from afrihost :(

ok so today is not my day: My date has just been updated...

Collivery 1209637 Status is : In branch - Prescheduled

Delivery will be before 16:00 on 29 August


Mine did the exact same thing..i'm thinking about rather going to pick it up
 
Finally, in my grubby hands.

At least the delivery guy still had a sense of humour after a long day, which is all good.
