Very dissatisfied with Afrihost so far. When I got in Twitter DM back and forth with them, they claimed that my pre-order is technically not a pre-order - say what? Dispatched from Afrihost in the same 15:55 batch that many others are still waiting on, and yet the dude won't just admit it and is trying to somehow convince me mines not a pre order?
Phoned MDS, they say many will only be delivered next week, yet Afrihost is not owning up to this.
This is the worst of the worst when it comes to customer service: not admitting when you've made a mistake and making up lame excuses, hoping "maybe they won't notice". Total lack of ownership.
My mifi is heading very quickly towards Gumtree (if and when I receive it) and I'll write the R145 off as school fees to avoid Afrihost, will advise people I chat to to steer well clear...
