Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Just got mine, and 5GB free... thank you Afrihost... just tried it out, downloading at 500kbps... very very happy now....
 
Got an SMS from Gian, thanks for the free extra bandwidth!
And then got an email from MDS saying the driver has been dispatched and I should get the Mifi today.

YEEHAAAAAAA! Thanks Afrihost.

"Collivery 122*** Status is : Delivery Driver Dispatched"

Got an email this morning saying a driver has been dispatched so i cancelled my appointments. Still waiting for the delivery i decided to check the tracking.

Feedback : Collivery ***** Status is : Delivery Failed

Sounds like they have passed delivery onto secondary company not MDS delivery incoming :'(
 
Had mine delivered just before 3pm. I'm super stoked as I was just about to leave the office en route to their depot in Epping. MDS tracker was never updated and I never received an email or SMS.
 
Had to go and pick it up as there was no driver available. Really great company and polite too.
Just over-whelmed. Their warehouse was still packed with packages from Afrihost.
 
Assume that everyone in this thread that has not received their MiFi today as promised received an SMS and/or and email from Gian - to express his deepest apologies and to explain the way forward from here.

We're still pushing MDS extremely hard to get as many deliveries out as quickly as possible, so please make sure you check your email and SMS for their correspondence so nothing holds up the next round of deliveries.

Again, we're truly sorry to have missed this crucial deadline for some of you, and we promise that we'll make it up to each and every client who we've let down :(
 
I didn't think it was necessary to give extra bandwidth either.

Similar, they happened to arrive when I was on hand. Few minutes later and they would have missed me. I didn't even know they were planning to deliver (no tracking information or notifications).

The awesome customer service has actually convinced me to ditch Mweb as my adsl ISP.
 
Sigh, got a notification that they'll deliver mine, but it's after 17:00 so no idea if they'll still come. Tracking says driver dispatched (has been for a couple of hours now).
 
Strange, got a call round 7pm to say I'm getting tomorrow. However tracking on mds site and AfriHost clientzone still the same as it was 2 weeks back....
 
What does it mean if yesterday status was "driver dispatched" and today it says Invoiced? I haven't received anything yet.
